Chamber choir Polifonija from Šiauliai performed music from around the world at the Presidential Palace

Sunday, February 20, Vilnius - Sunday afternoon, the Šiauliai State Chamber Choir Polifonija presented its popular concert project "Let's Travel with Music All Around the Globe" at the Presidential Palace. It was the first performance of the multiligual music programme in Vilnius.

The concert offered a colorful and enjoyable journey around the world with choral music from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas resounding in the Column Hall. Concert goers had a wonderful opportunity to get to know more about vocal music traditions based on far-away exotic folklore.

The performers were the Šiauliai State Chamber Choir Polifonija and professional instrumentalists (percussion, keyboards, other). Choir leader: Tomas Ambrozaitis. Conductors: Mindaugas Žalalis and Hana Mockienė. Concert presenter: Vita Butvilienė.
